It’s back to school time, and we’ve partnered with Huntington Learning Center to make sure every student in Chicagoland has the school supplies they need to start the year off right. Throughout the month of August, we will be collecting school supplies and backpacks for students in need this school year. So while you are out filling out your school supply list, please grab some extra school supplies or an extra backpack or two to help the cause. Head to any Huntington Learning Center locations and look for the Chicago’s 100.3 WSHE/Cradles to Crayons dropbox to drop them off.
*All supplies and backpacks will be delivered to Cradles to Crayons.
Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities. They are always looking to collect not only new school supplies and new backpacks, but also gently used clothing, books, and shoes. For more information, contact Cradles to Crayons.
